About Emily

Emily Morrison Wood is a Charlotte-based interior designer and native Charlestonian. She credits her eye for design and color to a childhood surrounded by Charleston’s splendor as well as her background in art history. 

Emily began her study of interior design under designer Jane Schwab at Circa Interiors & Antiques in Charlotte before branching out with designer Patrick Lewis to open Patrick Lewis Interiors. In January of 2019, she was thrilled to open the doors of Emily M. Wood Interiors.

Emily’s design is driven by a desire to make each home comfortable, livable, and unique to a client’s personality. Her creative use of color and pattern is at once sophisticated and playful, resulting in elegant rooms that never feel too extravagant to enjoy.

Outside of design, Emily spends time with her husband, two young boys, and pair of English Springer Spaniels. They enjoy exploring new restaurants in Charlotte and frequent trips to Charleston to visit family.
